Used in a variety of industries, a box body provides many benefits for your cargo hauling needs. When keeping your cargo out of the elements and safely secured when not in transit, box bodies are an ideal choice.

Knapheide Box Bodies come with standard features to help you get the job done. With a full size rear roll-up door, cargo can be easily accessed.

Box bodies are available with .040” aluminum sidewalls or 0.5” FRP sidewalls. Aluminum sidewalls offer exposed Z posts with interior options for maximum cargo control. FRP provides a smooth outer sidewall perfect for graphic artwork, with increased interior space void of interior framing.

    Standard Features:
  • Floors are 2”x8” pine shiplap (laminated hardwood for bodies 18’ and longer)
  • Floors include 12-gauge steel side rail band structure
  • Rear threshold is 10-gauge steel with built-in drain groove to prevent water from entering cargo area
  • Corner posts are 12-gauge steel with 14-gauge reinforcement, adding extra durability
  • Standard rear roll-up door comprised of .25” composite, which features 10% lighter weight than standard wood doors with zero rot

DuraBox Cargo Van is available as either aluminum sheet and post (up to 26’) or FRP (up to 24’). The aluminum design features .040” pre-painted aluminum sheet with galvanized “Z” posts on 16” centers, 2” spacing on seams, and 4” on ribs. Fiberglass Reinforced Plywood (FRP) sidewalls are also available that provide a smooth, clean exterior look that’s great for graphics.

The DuraBox Cargo Van come standard with a 10” aluminum diamond plate radius to protect the front edge from damage and heavy-duty extruded aluminum corners. Rear posts are manufactured with 4” x 5” heavy duty steel that is specifically designed to accommodate tailgate and liftgate installation.

This strong, light-weight van body really delivers, hauling more payload and saving fuel costs with every trip. We designed our all aluminum van body with final mile delivery drivers in mind. Strong, user-friendly, and tough enough to stand up to any kind of duty cycle, whether it's urban delivery or interstate hauling.

This body is available in lengths of 8' to 11' in 1' increments. Inside width from side to side is 84".

    Features:
  • SIDES: One piece sides with no welded seams. 10 gauge A607 grade-50 high tensile steel with boxed top rail and fully welded boxed rear corner post. 6" side board gussets with full length rub rails, and box-type sidebraces.
  • RUB RAILS: Full length 45 degree deflector panels are an integral part of the sides.

    U.S. Truck Body: Dry Freight Duraplate

    Our DuraPlate utility truck bodies are designed to provide maximum capacity and corrosion resistance, while providing a smooth exterior that’s perfect for graphics.

    DuraPlate® is durable material that is commonly used in construction of semi-trailers. The panel is constructed of a high-density polyethylene (HDPE) core, bonded between two sheets of pre-coated galvanized steel skins. These materials produce a composite panel that is extremely strong, lightweight, and damage resistant.

    U.S. Truck Body: FRP

    A general purpose high cube dry freight van body, with added space as the primary advantage of the Fiberglass Reinforced Plywood construction. The absence of exterior seams and rivets provides an ideal surface for custom decals and painting. FRP is also very durable and dent resistant. Our FRP bodies utilize the same quality construction of our aluminum bodies including DuraPlate® swing doors and stainless steel bar lock hardware.

    U.S. Truck Body: Moving Body

    Our moving bodies have been developed with industry leading movers and tailored to their unique needs.
